10,000 steps to improve insulin
The daily recommendation is 3,000 steps a day. Do you have a pedometer? How many steps you are taking in a day? 3000 steps seem to make a reasonable number, but if you make a difference, go for 10,000. A recent study estimated that a sedentary person started a program to walk 10,000 steps a day is better than three times the sensitivity compared to only 3,000 feet to see more steps a day.
